We’re on day three in this Spectacular Taylor Dean Giveaway. I’ve told you about two of her books so far, and a bit about Taylor.

As I explained already, I want you to get to know Taylor and her books, so you can discover how amazing she is at telling her stories. This week as I will post about Taylor’s books, you will get the chance to enter the $50 Amazon Gift Card or Paypal Cash Giveaway that Taylor is holding to celebrate the release of her new book Stone Silence. And because I want you to check out her other books, I will be gifting one of her books to a lucky winner.

To be entered into the draw to win the $50.00 gift card you just follow the rules of the rafflecopter at the end of this post.

To win a book, you need to like both Taylor Dean’s Facebook page  and My Facebook page . Then you need to share one of the posts during the week and comment on which book you would like to read based on my reviews. You can share and comment on more than one post, I will pick the most original, intriguing comment. It’s as simple as that!

Today I want to share one of Taylor’s books that probably impacted me the most in my life. I think out of all the fictional books I have ever read – and I read a lot of books, last year alone I read 101- this is the only fictional book that has influenced me so profoundly.

I remember at the time Taylor had finished writing this book, she sent me an ARC. I was on holiday, so I immediately dove into reading this gem. At the time I didn’t know much of the story, just that it dealt with some seriously painful issues. As I came to the most moving, heart-wrenching section of the book, I remember  my children were playing carelessly in the pool as I was lying there on a pool chair, with tears pouring down my cheeks. After having lost a baby due to a miscarriage 7 years beforehand, I finally felt someone had written down the exact feelings I had struggled for so long to fully express. I finally felt understood, and I just sat there. My husband looked at me, but I ignored him, and carried on reading to the end, until I was able to talk about it. This book helped me sew that last little tear up, and put it to rest. I still have the scar but I have healed, and I understand it better. This book pieced the last of me together. So to say that this one was  life-changing read, isn’t an exaggeration at all.

To all the people who have dealt with any type of child loss, or anyone who can relate to loss in some way, this one is a real eye opener.

Book

I'm with you by Taylor Dean

Can three little words irrevocably change your life?

When the doctors inform Chloe Brennan that her pregnancy is “incompatible with life,” her subsequent choices will change her path forever.

She becomes one of the quiet, unsung heroes of this world, incredibly strong, yet somehow wrongly looked upon as damaged.

Three people will pierce Chloe’s existence: her husband, a stranger, and a precious baby.

One will say goodbye, one will say hello, and one will say both at the same time.

I’m With You is a novel about selfless love and the sacredness of life.

Please note: While this book is a romance novel, it also deals with the sensitive issue of baby loss grief.
The emotions are real, and sometimes dark.
If you are sensitive to this issue, this may not be the book for you.

Review

I have read all of Taylor’s books, and each book is amazingly great in it’s own way! My favorite has always been For Nick, but after reading this one, I may have to review my opinion.

I’m with you follows the story of Chloe who at the beginning of the story is being left by her husband Mark. Not long after he leaves a stranger comes pounding on the door. He turns out to be the husband of the woman Mark ran of with. This man, Jack, soon becomes friends with Chloe.
I don’t want to give away to much of the storyline, but let me tell you it is such a great read! The heartache Chloe goes through is so touching. I have gone through a similar loss, and I could relate to the way Chloe felt, the feelings she describes, Taylor hits it spot on! It is a difficult subject, but it is brought with such care, compassion and feeling, any reader reading this will be moved. After reading the book (I finished it in 1 day straight) I had to take time to process all of what I read and the feelings it evoked in me, as it hit so close to home.
This book is a real emotional rollercoaster, with really high highs, and very low lows. It is a book that will leave an impression on you for quite some time after you finish reading it. Taylor has such great talent, and her work just amazes me time and again. This story was based on a personal experience of her daughter who lost a child due to this syndrome. I cannot imagine the strength it must have taken to pen down this story and bring it to us as readers. As always, Taylor takes a hard situation and brings it to us in a way we as readers can relate, leaving us forever changed in the process. I look forward to more!

I’m glad this book helped to heal you, Mylissa. If it helped just one person, I achieved my goal. It’s such a taboo subject and I don’t think it should be. Mothers should be allowed to mourn and not be told to move on. I worried this book would be a trigger, hence the warning. I didn’t want to bring on painful emotions to a mother who has experienced baby loss. But I am so glad to know it has a healing effect. That was my intention. Thanks for sharing my books.

This sounds so moving, and raw. I can imagine it was difficult to write, but I’m sure that later when the story touches someone’s heart and heals an old, but remaining wound, it makes it worth it. I’d love to read this. It sounds like a beautiful story.

Thanks for writing this book Taylor. It helped me in more ways than I can ever express.
